We Lead With Respect

Everyone in this space deserves to feel seen, safe, and honored. We greet one another with kindness and affirm each other’s right to set boundaries, move freely, and express themselves fully - on and off the dance floor.

Consent is Ongoing

All touch and all intimacy - whether a dance, a hug, or a conversation - begins with consent. This means asking before initiating and respecting the answer with grace, no pressure. Consent can change at any time, and we trust each other to listen and respond with care.

We Notice Power and Make Space

We come from different lived experiences - some of us carry privilege, and others carry histories of harm. We commit to noticing how our words, actions, or assumptions might impact others. We actively work to center voices and bodies that have historically been marginalized, including Black, Indigenous, disabled, trans, queer, femme, and immigrant community members.

We Hold Ourselves Accountable with Love

If someone shares that we’ve hurt or made them uncomfortable, we listen. We don’t get defensive. We reflect. Growth is welcome here, and being called in is an invitation to be more in alignment with our values of care.

We Move With Generosity, Not Judgment

Gossip, exclusion, or shaming have no place here. We give each other the benefit of the doubt, while still upholding boundaries that protect our collective well-being. If conflict arises, we approach it with care and seek resolution, not punishment.

Harm Has Consequences

If someone’s behavior causes repeated or serious harm, we will respond as a community, not to punish but to protect. That may include a pause, conversation, repair process, or asking someone to step away from the space - always with dignity and the hope for future return, if and when trust can be rebuilt.

This is a living code.

We grow together. We make mistakes. We forgive. We stay rooted in our purpose: to create space where everyone can move freely, feel joy deeply, and be their full, radiant selves.
