Partnership with Get Empowered!

Dance Is Life is thrilled to welcome Get Empowered! as a valued partner. Founded and led by Executive Director Emi Gittleman,Get Empowered! curates and produces cultural arts-based programming and outreach events for children, families, and communities across diverse settings nationwide.

Last summer, Dance Is Life began collaborating with Get Empowered! by hosting children and teens from their program at our cultural social dance events — igniting joy, connection, and a vibrant intergenerational energy that speaks to the very heart of what Dance Is Life is about. This summer, we are proud to continue and deepen that partnership, culminating in a youth group showcase at our July 20th event in Central Park.

Together, we are building on a shared vision of community, culture, and the transformative power of dance across generations.
