Dance Is Life Brings the Groove to Pier 84 for the First Time!

On August 31, Dance Is Life brought the music, movement, and magic of our community to Hudson River Park’s Pier 84 for the very first time! Against the beautiful backdrop of NYC’s waterfront, familiar faces and new friends came together for an evening filled with rhythm, connection, and collective joy. From lively partner dancing and freestyle moves to spontaneous dance circles and shared moments of celebration, the dance floor was alive with energy and self-expression. As always, our community reminded us that Dance Is Life is more than just a dance party — it's a space where people of different generations, backgrounds, and experiences can come together through the universal language of movement. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped bring the Dance Is Life spirit to a new home. Wherever the music takes us, the love, joy, and connection follow!
